Maggee Tennessen was among the first country dancers in Arizona to compete in U.C.W.D.C national competitions in the 1980's. Maggee has been teaching country/western and swing dancing since 1986 with a background in music and dance.
Maggee was the director of the Arizona State C/W Dance Championships for eight years and opened her own studio in 1995. She created the Arizona Dance Club in 1997, which provides new dancers an introduction into the dance world. In 2010 she became the Arizona distributor for Evenin' Star dance boots and Ultimate dance shoes.
Maggee's expertise lies in dances done at local nightclubs around the valley, as well as competitive dances for national country competitions. Dances that she specializes in are; AZ 2-step, Progressive 2-step, Nightclub 2-step, Half-time, Waltz, Cha-Cha, Polka, East & West Coast Swing, Jitterbug and Country Swing.
